Improving car’s throttle response – AUDI, SKODA, VOLKSWAGEN, SEAT
Already since the second half of July 2019, Quantum Tuning offers its clients an ECU remap of the newest control units Bosch MD1, and is a first company of this kind in the Czech Republic and Slovakia to increase power and optimize efficiency in the newest cars of the carmaker Audi, VW, Škoda, Seat. New models Volkswagen Touareg and Audi A6, Q7, Q8 boast with well made three litre diesel engines, which are equipped with an ECU Bosch MD1CP004. The only one problem is that the throttle response is a disaster. The same can be said about the 2.0 TDI, 140 KW motorization. At a crossroads, upon pressing the accelerator the car takes a while before it takes off. We were delighted by an email from one of our clients who, in my opinion, got it spot on..
„What bothers me is the incredible delay after stepping on the gas. At a speed 20 Km/h I sharply press the accelerator to the ground to speed up but the torque meter and the engine remain still.“.
